CRIME: Michael Swango

When you think of serial killers most people think of Gacey, Dahmer or Bundy. The name Michael Swango may not be as familiar to those outside of Quincy, however many here remember the poisoning of his fellow medical professionals. Beyond Quincy, Swango spent time as a doctor in multiple hospitals in and outside the country. No matter the location his patients increasingly began dying mysterious deaths which quickly turned suspicion on Swango who was eventually arrested and convicted of many murders. On this episode of Wild Quincy, we tell you the whole story from his formative years in Quincy to his professional life in Quincy, as well as his dark path that eventually lead to his capture and arrest. CRIME: The Blind Murderer?

John Loomiller was a wealthy blind man living with his wife and their niece near Liberty, enjoying a relaxing lifestyle living off the investments and property Loomiller owned in the Kansas and Oklahoma area. This ideal lifestyle came to a crashing halt when John's wife and his niece were found brutally murdered in their home. The investigation that resulted is one of wild twists and turns where suspicion started to fall on the blind man as the murderer. There's not much this unsolved cold case from years ago doesn't have, so buckle up and dive on in to this episode of Wild Quincy!
