CRIME: The Blind Murderer?

John Loomiller was a wealthy blind man living with his wife and their niece near Liberty, enjoying a relaxing lifestyle living off the investments and property Loomiller owned in the Kansas and Oklahoma area. This ideal lifestyle came to a crashing halt when John's wife and his niece were found brutally murdered in their home. The investigation that resulted is one of wild twists and turns where suspicion started to fall on the blind man as the murderer. There's not much this unsolved cold case from years ago doesn't have, so buckle up and dive on in to this episode of Wild Quincy! CRIME: Michael McCluskey

In 1995 an incident shocked the community. 14 year old Michael McCluskey tragically lost his parents and younger brother in a house fire which he claimed to escape from the second story window. Soon, suspicion turned toward Michael who was eventually tried for murder. Now 26 years later we dig into the the story with one of the journalist who covered the trial. Jennifer McIntire, former WGEM anchor and reporter, joins us to discuss the story of the 14 year old killer.
